How does PSA work?

Just curious as how PSA processes an order.

I recently sent in an order with over 60 cards. They ranged from T205 and T206 to 2000. The pre-war cards did well grade wise - getting the grades I would expect. But the cards from the 50's on up seems to be graded on the low side.

I am curious if one guy grades the pre-war and someone else grades the modern, or does one person grade the entire submission?

Anyone know how that works?

Thanks.

Thanks guys. In that case, I think a lot of the pre-war grader (T205/T206), and not much of the modern card dude (60's through 2000). You always have a good idea of what you send in. Did about as expected in the T's, very much below on the others. Lesson learned.

Jimmy, here's a headsup on PSA: if an auction house sends cards in for grading, suddenly the grading gets.....shall we say...liberal.

Yeah, learning that. This was a 60 plus card sub, and other than the pre-war cards, it went south fast. But on the plus side, I like the SGC green and black slabs. :D
