Herpolsheimers and Holsums
 

Posted By: <b>Paul</b><p>I think this card confirms that there is a close relationship between the unique E121 style Herpolsheimers cards and the D327 Holsum Bread cards.<br /><br /><a href="http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=160067227284&ssPa geName=STRK:MEWA:IT&ih=006" target="_new" rel="nofollow">http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=160067227284&ssPa geName=STRK:MEWA:IT&ih=006</a><br /><br />The card is a Herpolsheimers that lists Ping Bodie with Washington. Awhile back, Frank Ward mentioned in a post that the Holsum card of Bodie also lists him with Washington. Bodie never played for Washington, so the two sets share a common, very strange error.
