Displaying your treasures

Posted By: Jim Novotny
I was just wondering, with all of the wonderful items that you all have, how do you display them or do you display them at all? Are there special precautions beyond the obvious that you need to be aware of? It would seem to be a shame to put such effort into collecting to just have the cards sit in a box.

I recently bought some nice wall displays that hold 50 graded cards. I have them in a room that doesnt get much sunlight, and none directly on the cards. I really enjoy being able to walk in and take a look at some of what I have collected.

Posted By: Bryan Long
After what happened to Ben I just don't want them hanging on a wall or out where someone knows about them. I love my cards too much for someone to steal them. So to answer your question - in a nice box from I forget the webiste name but alot of people use them here. The real expensive ones are safe the in the bank storage box.

The other is my firebox that holds all my star cards that are valued above $300ish, or any card that I just cant see parting with. Once I obtain my final few cards on my true wish list, I will pick up one of the boxes that Bryan is talking about.

I also cant see putting any of my collection in a bank vault, If I were to ever obtain a T206 Wagner or Plank or CJ Jackson PSA 9, I'd install a wall safe and home alarm. I love looking at my cards, eventhough they aren't that expensive yet.

pete-

my best pitch was the one that made it to the plate!
