Would you care, they ask, to try a search. I did. Nothing.<BR><BR>It's on about page 17, now. While looking through all the pages, I found my Birthday greetings, and noticed that your cake and candles had didsappeared--like a picture in an auction after the auction is over.<BR><BR>It thus occurred to me--do maintaining the Smileys cost money? I'm sure we would all like to contribute.<BR><BR>BRING BACK SMILEYS, please. <img src="/images/happy.gif" height=14 width=14><BR>

Posted By: <b>John(z28jd)</b><p>I thought this was a post about missing John Smiley cards,or even mickey welch,since it is a vintage site but i read it and it was more of the usual. see my post about relevant stuff in a different thread...........some useful info so this thread isnt a total waste,a great baseball name,john slappey who played for the 1920 a's wouldve been 104 today if he were still alive,died in the hometown of our very own scott forrest.how many people can say they actually heard of him,but try forgetting that name now
