A few VERY TOUGH caramels available - e103 Tenny, e97 Hartsel (one "L"), e102 Schmidt

Posted By: Brian McQueen
Thought I'd see if I could jumpstart some trade talks by offering a few choice "set toughies" from my collection. I have quite a few "projects" I'm working on so I figured I could sacrifice a few nice cards to make some headway on some of these sets. Here are the cards I'm considering parting with in the right deal -

e103 Tenny SGC AUT - decent looking card with a couple wrinkles. This might very well be my all-time favorite card as it was so painfully difficult to find one. As it is, I have two now so one could be expendable. I also have a PSA 1 I could part with if someone prefers that. Definitely a key card and the toughest card from a very difficult set. I believe only 5 examples have been slabbed by either PSA or SGC. Only two examples have been offered up for sale publically, individually or within a group, the past 3-4 years. The most recent of which sold for over $1850.

e97 Hartsel PSA 4 - one "L" variation. Gorgeous card and a popular variation. Very high grade for this card and slightly touched corners are the only noticeable fault. The winner of the SGC 40 from the recent Mastro auction will be paying just about $1k including juice/shipping for that card. I'm not sure about PSA's Pop report however SGC only lists 4 Hartsel's in their report (they list 19 with two "L's"). None of the four are higher than a 40.

1911 Zeenut Arlett SGC 80 - popular player and one of the top 5 toughest cards in a trickly 1911 Zeenut set. Unheard of condition for Zeenuts as well. This is by far the nicest Arlett to show up in an SGC or PSA pop report.

e102 Schmidt SGC 20 - One of the four difficult variations from this set. I believe only six Schmidts have been graded by SGC or PSA.

---------------
I'm mainly just looking to trade so I can make some progress on my sets. I might consider downgrades for any of these cards as well. Here's a list of what I could use -

d311 - Daley, Fitzgerald, Heister, LaLonge, Lewis, O'Rourke, Berry
d322 - Mascot or Dreyfuss
e98 - lowgrade commons
e103 - lowgrade commons
1918 Zeenut - need any
1919 Zeenut - Vance or Arbuckle
m116 - 300 subjects backs
v117s - need most
t207 - Napoleon backs
t210 - orange borders or Series 7 Kelly Mascot
t222 - Henry
w590 - Spencer, Hornsby or Ruth

Scans are available upon request. Thanks in advance,
Brian
redmaccie@hotmail.com
