The Hawk turns 100 today...show your Ben Hogan wares!
1912 was a pretty special year in the golf world. Byron Nelson, Sam Snead, and Ben Hogan were all born and went on to form one of the great 3-way rivalries in all of sports.
I highly recommend James Dodson's "The American Triumvirate", which chronicles each player's life and ultimate ascent into the pantheon of golf legends.
The Golf Channel is running a documentary version of this books starting tonight (Aug 13th). Check your local listings.
