Potentially Dumb JSA/SGC Question

Posted By: James Feagin
I might win some items that come with a copy of a JSA LOA. Can I just send these in to SGC and get them slabbed and not send them to Spence?

Potentially Dumb JSA/SGC Question

Posted By: warshawlaw
I had the same question. The back of the LOA you get sort of explains that it isn't really a LOA it is just sort of an LOA and that if you want a real LOA you have to send it back and pay their fees. When I took mine to them at the National they told me that they honor their LOAs but will charge half price of the normal slabbing cost to vouch for the item and have SGC slab it. You need to call them and ask what to do, but that was my experience.

Potentially Dumb JSA/SGC Question

Posted By: Joe D.
I know SGC slabs cards autographed / authenticated by JSA....

but does SGC slab straight autographs (not a card) if it is authenticated by JSA?

My William Hoy autograph is PSA authenticated and I was going to have it put in an PSA slab... but if SGC would do the same - I would prefer that.

Potentially Dumb JSA/SGC Question

Posted By: William Brumbach
I generally don't like to dredge up old threads but I stumbled upon this while looking for another one and figured I would answer Joe D's question. Yes, SGC will slab autographs not on sportscards:
