Isn’t it great that we now have a one hour + series of pregame shows preceding what inevitably will be a four hour baseball game?

I don't mind it at all.

Me either- not really too much Baseball this time of year. |
The quantity doesn’t bother me a bit, it’s the quality. The announcers and analysts are mostly horrible, and I mute Smoltz and Buck for the broadcast.
I could watch TWIB and Mel Allen 24/7 if it were on... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I really like Smoltzie's work on air. Buck can take a flying leap, however. He'll never approach the level of his father.

I agree Bill. Former players involved in announcing a game can offer some terrific insight, and Smoltz does just that.
I'm not a fan of the pregame, however I love the Series thus far. It has been nice to see teams with at least 3 starters each that can go 7 innings. My 2014 ( AL Champs ) and 2015 ( WS Champs ) had starters go 4 innings and then off to the pen. It worked then with a shutdown bullpen, but this model is widely copied now. |
The mini ad for the Quicker Picker Upper while the pitching coach was making a mound visit made me spill my beer.
Because of the commercials brevity I didn’t have time to pick up a roll of Bounty, so I had to use an old towel to mop of the beer. It may not have been quicker, but I didn’t have to miss the next commercial.;) |
If they can have a 10 or 12 hour super bowl pregame show an hour doesn't sound so bad for a world series game.
