Heck Of An Auction Last Night In NYC!

Shoeless Joe and The Babe items brought in some serious bids.

I read that Heritage execs had the Ruth watch pegged for a higher hammer than the Shoeless bat, but old Joe took the top spot.

Anyone pull down anything sweet?

I am in the heritage auction on a few lots, but they go into the extended bidding online. Here's to hoping a few of my current bids hold on...

I think they also had a called shot ticket. Impressive stuff.

I was at the cocktail reception the other night for the auction, they are great hosts (Calvin, Derek, etc). Got to hold the Jackson Bat, it's stunning. Across the board, the pieces were museum quality. That's a catalog i'll be saving. I'm bidding on an item that ends tonight, internet only, we'll see how it goes.

Some pics from the other night...
