Update 11/5/10 several items sold, team photo and shorsts are still available.
Update11/2/10 reduced prices and new 1904 photo added. Also, if you want more than one item, the shipping costs will be less so I can reduce the price further. For example, if you want both cards and the toy game photo, I can do those three for 24.00 shipped. Just let me know what you want (if anything).
Hi-
The following basketball items are for sale. All prices include shipping. Posts or emails are fine, and will be dealt with in the order they were received. Check or money order for payment please. If you are a known poster on the board, I will send the item to you before sending me the payment. If you are not a known poster, we will work something out. Please do not hesitate to ask questions or if you need better scans or photos. Thank you for looking!

1. B.C. Champs 43-44 medal. I do not believe this is related to Boston College, as I could find no record of them winning a championship in that year. There are a couple of marks/stains on the front of the medal (please see the scans). It is smaller than a quarter, but bigger than a nickel.
Price: 20.00
NOW 12.00 SOLD
2. Coyne Publication "card" of Bob Cousy. I have had these "cards" a few times over the last ten years. They are believed to have been made by Coyne Publishing in the 1960s. I have owned a Russell in the past and have a few baseball ones I will be posting for sale soon. I do not believe these are catalogued. It is blank backed and measures 7 inches tall and 5 inches wide. There is some minor staining at the bottom and right side (the scans do not show this too well), but no creasing. There are two cards shown in the scan.
Price: 15.00
NOW: 10.00 SOLD
3. Coyne Publishing "card" of Sam Jones. Same minor staining but no creases.
Price: 15.00
NOW: 10.00 SOLD
4. Emblem Company circa 1940s basketball shorts. These are very short and have the side padding as well as a metal buckle. I can try to take better pictures (scans are below) if needed. The condition is excellent on these.
Price: 40.00
NOW: 30.00
5. Circa 1950s basketball toy game product photo. I found this in a binder full of promotional photos from a toy wholesaler from the 1950s. This would be an amazing companion piece if you have the game.
Price: 15.00
NOW: 10.00 SOLD
New Item 11/2/10
6. 1904 Large Team Photograph of a basketball team. I believe the team is from Norwich University as the dealer I bought it from found it in Vermont and there is an NU on the collar of the cadet's uniform. Norwich was and still is a military and civilian university. There are small spots of paperloss (as the scan indicates) on the front. It is blank backed. The photo is on a mount that is 12 inches long and 10 inches tall. The photo is 6.5 inches tall and 7.5 inches wide.
Price: 150.00 or best offer

Thank you for looking.
