1902 Cleveland Bronchos PC

Lelands is advertising a 1902 Cleveland Bronchos PC in their current auction. The listing indicates that it includes Lajoie (which it clearly does not), nor does it show Flick or Joss, or anyone else I recognize.

Is that even the Cleveland AL team? A uniform check shows that the Bronchos never had white-collared uniforms.

Do any of you recognize any of the players?

what a crock

No Lajoie there - how can Lelands claim he is?

Could be a Cleveland, Tennessee town team for all we know...

The pro team would have a lot more players than eleven. I think you're right, it may be a town team that has the name "Cleveland".

This is a divided back postcard. Thus, it can't be 1902, can it?

No, it cannot be. Divided back postcards came about in the beginning of 1907.

Because it will get a higher price if he says it does?

One of the all time great movie endings.
