Posted By: David Smith
I was at the auction and looked at the card, I didn't see any dog ears. The corners were touched but not dog eared. There was an horizontal crease across the card about the chin area (you can see it at the right edge of the card).

I asked why it wasn't graded like some of the other items in the auction and they said the card came in only a few days ago and this was the only baseball item the lady owned. It was her father's and he had it stored away in a box.

The eldr Mr. Bussineau was there and he bid the card up to $4,500. The highest internet bid was $2,800 if I remember correctly.

Posted By: BlackSoxFan
Interesting, the reason i wasn't sure how much to bid on this was because of the enclosed picture... i thought there had to have been a crease or somethign that just didn't show up

Regards,

Black Sox Fan

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

email me

Posted By: BlackSoxFan
Something is dog eared when it bends up at the edges or buckles if you will. I saw the crease they mentioned in the description, i was just guessing there might be another one.

Regards,

Black Sox Fan

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

email me
