APBA cards that smell bad.

Before I write a longer message, does anyone buy APBA cards and games purchased around 1960 that smell musty? The cards are in good condition. The boxes of the games are falling apart. Thank you.

APBA cards, other cards, or anything else at all really, smell matters a lot to some collectors (allergies sometimes involved),
and matters not at all to others (most, we'd guess).
If you're selling stinky cards, try putting 'em in an enclosed box filled with baking soda or cat litter for a few days.
Should absorb the stench right out of 'em.
If the game boxes stink as well, fill those with baking soda or cat litter and let 'em sit for a while, or sometimes just
setting the boxes outside in the fresh dry air for a while will do the trick.

Dr. Burkett is the authority on old APBA cards. My understanding is that the ones he sells have been disinfected and deodorized through multiple cleanings. They may smell faintly of bleach though.
