Fishing expedition

Mike Troutball, yes, Tim Salmonball, yes, but Mickey Bassball just doesn't lure me in.

I will admit that for some special things, little needs to be said, unless you're discoursing on the history of that special thing.

Maybe he was in a big hurry.

If he was not in a big hurry, nor drunk as a skunk, and lucid, his eBay entry title leaves me at a loss of words, save one simple question.

How in the world did this idiot achieve 12 prior sales?!#*?;)

He didn't. His twelve feedback is from buying. He has zero feedback as a seller. :D

Until the USPS checks it like they are allowed to do with media mail, and realizes it's a baseball card. Then they either send it back or deliver it postage due at whatever rate is appropriate.

I used to send boxes full of junky cards media mail until the clerk asked what it was and informed me baseball cards were not ok in media mail. Oh well, nice interpretation/loophole while it lasted.

I was expecting to see a card of Kevin Bass, not Mickey Mantle.

When I was getting ready to sell my book, NEVER CHEAPER BY THE DOZEN, through the mail last year, I decided on free shipping via media mail. The clerk told me first class shipping was just a mere four cents more. Fine, I told her, for a few pennies more my customers shall get free shipping via first class mail.

As I remember, the USPS treats media mail distinctly differently than first class.

Never regretted this decision, and there have been no reports of damaged books received.;)

By the way, what the hell is that card that he's selling?

Shoeless Moe 08-05-2017 08:28 PM
