Where do you guys post your collections?

I tried searching for this topic and couldn't find it. Maybe I was using the wrong wording..

Whats the best site to upload your collections? I currently have my stuff on photobucket. I'm not fully satisfied with that site because its so dull and boring. I can't use flickr either because it only allows 200 free images.

Are there any other free sites that are GOOD?

Free uploads

Forum member Kjjavic has a site at www.antiquesportsshop.com where you can send him your photos and he will put them on his site with a description.
Great site too!!

I think you can post your pictures of your collection using the community tab above.

I use flickr for $24.95 a year, or something like that. For that price, I think it's extremely good value, particularly considering what I spend on memorabilia each year.

With yearly payment, you also get no ads, which is a very huge bonus.

Free is not always a good thing, and it often isn't free.

I use www.freewebs.com

Under this board's community tab (in the dark blue line across every page) you can use our own board if you want to. There are over a hundred collections there now and it's super easy and free. I host there and I have my own website.

While it's a little bit limited with regards to picture resolution, I really like collectorfocus.

Wow I never knew those albums were there....I like the multi sport illustration on one of the pages of the Young Men's Magazine posted today by cmoore330...I just wish I could enlarge it to see it better...Looks like a good magazine never heard of it before....interesting tall narrow format..cmoore330, could you post the cover and give the date?

Collector focus

I just started on mine a couple of months ago. Takes a lot of time to do all the scanning. It is at http://www.collectorfocus.com/collection/kdixon

It was enjoyable to browse through your collection and check out all the cool items. That's an impressive signed baseball grouping you have there. Thanks for sharing.

Is there a max amount of photos you can add to this site? I too desperately need a site for my collection. I once had a site at freewebs.com and one day I logged on and all my images had been erased.

kdixon 01-11-2013 05:42 AM

I dont know of any limits. It is a pretty easy site to use. If I can figure it out anyone can. And its free.

www.dugouttreasures.com

In 2006 we decided to simply create a web site on which to show the collection. Go Daddy hosts it and its about $23 a month to run...well worth it in our opinion.

Here is the link should anyone wish to check it out:

www.dugouttreasures.com

Best,
Jonathan
