I normally don't factor the book value heavily on a card that I want, but when the asking price is double book value, you really have to take that much of a difference into account.

http://www.auctiva.com/hostedimages/showimage.aspx?gid=287896&ppid=1122&image=13031021 0&images=130310210,130310215&formats=0,0&format= 0

Posted By: Jim Dale
The seller I have seen carry a lot of great cards and I believe they have very good reviews from buyers. They ask high prices, and always have. I have certainly seen far worse in terms of asking prices.

One thing you noted that I can't disagree with you more, and I won't "out" anyone but I actually exchanged emails with someone over a card not too long ago that touted the back as rare. On the list of scarcity it was the 2nd most common back out there. I didn't want to start an argument so I just dropped it...it was not the seller of this card.

Posted By: Hagar Henderson
Lance, is it proper etiquette to make offers on buy it now listings? I always had the idea that if the price is negotiable, the seller will include a "best offer" option.
