Is this an authentic game used Jersey? At least, team issued?

possibly; is there a better photo of the tagging?

I will take some better photos on Friday. If they check out, what would be a fair market value?

Tough to answer that question with so little info provided.

Is it all-original with no Number change? Is there any restoration to the front or back? Any holes, tears or repairs? In addition to having the proper tagging, all of this factors into the value.

Fair points, Perez. Thank you. I guess that I will have to wait until I can examine the piece in person on Friday. What does the “70-40” reflect? I see that it is a size 40 and I believe that Murcer was a size 42 for much of his career but size 40 would be reasonable early on. Any advice on the things that I would look for when authenticating?

70 would represent 1970

His 1969 road jersey was marked with 40 as well. Here is a comparator, although I admittedly don't know if there were any tagging changes from 1969 to 1970 and whether there is a difference in value between the two years (would assume 1969 was worth more absent better performance or some other key event in 1970)
