When you put "good luck and god bless" in the auction description you might as well just type "i am a crook".

Yup we've seen that "God Bless" many times and usually things do not turn out well.

Why would you consider one pack when Dean’s has the complete 1967 set available for only $28,270.00 with free shipping?

Excellent point, very astute observation.

To me the seal looks crooked and the pack looks loose but it's hard to tell with the plastic around it. I wouldn't spend that much unless it was slabbed by PSA.

I use "God Bless" pretty frequently in my correspondence and it usually works out great for the folks I am dealing with.

As to the wax, God Bless is probably completely correct because buying wax is always an act of faith.

I learned my lesson early on about searched and resealed product. There are a lot of unscrupulous people in the card business, you need to know who your are dealing with.

I would not put any trust in any sealed pack no matter who says it is good. A former member proved that getting resealed packs past PSA is easily done.

ALR-bishop 12-31-2018 07:12 AM

I am saving my money for a pre war Christmas rack pack.

toledo_mudhen 12-31-2018 07:14 AM

It's like $25 to have PSA take a look at it?

Wouldn't spend $480 on something that rare not TPG Authenticated.

Not TPG Authenticated puts it in the same category as the Topps "Christmas" Rack Packs

jfkheat 12-31-2018 08:24 AM

Just the fact that the seller is also selling Christmas racks makes me leery of this wax pack.

Aquarian Sports Cards 12-31-2018 08:44 AM

corners are all wrong.

vthobby 12-31-2018 08:45 AM

Bust....

This pack has already revealed its insides to someone long ago! Stay away!

Peace, Mike

If he added "veteran, out of gas, need work", I would think he was panhandling an offramp. Please help and God bless

Jim65 12-31-2018 10:32 AM

I sent the seller a message asking who the reputable dealer was who sold him the pack

His response "that would actually take some serious research and I don't have access to that today"

Thats some pretty nice tapdancing.

chalupacollects 12-31-2018 11:32 AM

That 67 rack pack he is selling is all wrong also... no red hashes down the seals...also two different series...

Did you say "free shipping"?

All feedback as a seller are private. Shady.

I checked the feedback too. I wanted to see what he had been selling. Flag one.
I checked what he has listed right now. Those Christmas rack pack things. Flag two.
I checked out where he bought this pack, and his response to a question. Flag three.

Don't you mean "Strike 1", "Strike 2", and Strike 3"?

I did too but I couldn’t wait to open it. I got a brand new signed T206 inside, authenticated by JSA.
Actually it was opinionated by JSA.

OMG best comment I’ve read so far in 2019.

He quotes “it has not been tampered with nor opened in anyway I obtained this from a reputable dealer”. I think this means “I bought it from a reputable dealer, and it was not tampered with by him. However, I may have opened it up and resealed it with junk after I purchased it.”

bensie 01-02-2019 03:05 PM

The only unopened material I'm comfortable purchasing is junk wax.

Steve_NY 01-05-2019 02:13 PM

My main concerns are that he bought the packs from a reputable dealer and he is selling Xmas racks. His 100% rating makes me comfortable BUT the negative signs including what I consider to be a very low price outweigh the positives. Also he is just selling those 2 packs and that is where my lightbulb really goes on: he is not a seller who consistently sells such packs. Even his 100% rating can't save him at this point.

ctownboy 01-05-2019 05:44 PM

I am not interested in the packs but my red flag would be when asked who the "reputable dealer" was, the seller couldn't remember or didn't want to say.

So, if you can't remember who the dealer you bought these things from was then how can you say they are reputable?

David
