Demmitt and O'Hara, together again
2 Attachment(s)
For a brief span of time since Lionel Carter's collection was broken up and sold in August 2007, his T206 Polar Bear cards of Demmitt and O'Hara were separated. The Demmitt has been in my collection for a little while, and this week I was able to add the O'Hara. Happy that these two have been reunited. Many thanks to the seller.
How many T206 cards from the Lionel Carter Collection can we show? |
Congrats! Nice accomplishment...pretty cards...
|
Rob - Congratulations on adding the O'Hara. Great to see those two cards together again.

These 2 cards are extremelly cool , and this subject too. I am always happy when i see L carter cards. You have the Demmitt and the O'hara, i have the Plank... anyone else here have the Magie ? My l carter card: http://i42.servimg.com/u/f42/11/52/54/64/3810.jpg |
I'm sorry for my ignorance, but I am unfamiliar with the rarities of T206's, but what is the provenance of the Demmitt and O'Hara? I know they are scarce, but what caused this? Did a plate break?
Thanks and sorry if you guys have talked about that a ton. |

My tonight last pick up, a new L.Carter t206 card for my collection. Thanks to the Net54 member who sell that card to me !
And the cool thing is if i check the alphabeticalchecklist of the T206, polland folow Plank on that checklist :) http://i42.servimg.com/u/f42/11/52/54/64/pollan10.jpg |
I just picked this up from Joe Yanello at http://joesvintagesportscards.com/ -- he listed a ton of Carter T206s recently.
Very stoked to get this one. The deep & nuanced greens are pack fresh. http://joesvintagesportscards.com/Me...243495-092.jpg |
Thank you for mentioning that, Brian. After reading your post I went to Joe's website and picked up a few more Lionel Carter T206s. I didn't know he had just added about 300 T206s to his inventory.
