HOF factory certified autographs question?

Hello,

In regards to Baseball HOF members, is there a list somewhere of which players have a factory certified autograph issued for them? not TPA certified but factory issued ones like Topps, Upper Deck, etc. (Does anyone know of the 323 HOF members, how many of the 323 players have a factory certified autograph issued or possible?) thanks for your help.

If you ate referring to cards only, 1990 was the first official year I know where factory witnessed cards were put in packs (Reggie Jackson was the first). If you are counting non cards like witnessed signings for MLB or first party companies like Steiner and Upper Deck Memorabilia then it goes back to the late 1980s.

Not conclusive, but you can almost guarantee just about any player who lived beyond the 1990s to have one if they were elected to the HOF prior to their death. I can't think of a player off the top of my head that would not have one and lived into the 2000s. Campanella even falls into this category technically, with a Front Row certified autograph.

If you include cut autos as well that were made into cards, that has added a bunch of prior deceased players as well.

I bookmarked this guy's collection a while back. it seems that you could get a pretty accurate count from just his collection and some basic knowledge of the cut industry (if he is missing any biggies that have certified cuts). Pretty amazing collection.

...even Satchel has the 1976 Goof Pants card, which I consider "factory certified" to a point....

Hello,

Among my HOF autos (260/325), I'm trying to get an 'factory' cert'd auto, ON CARD (not sticker/cut) That said, I think there are 122 (including Baines/Smith).....I'm just missing Mantle, so I'm 121/122.

check my site......
billshofautographs.weebly.com (baines was bought night of..took me by surprise, so it's not on site yet)
