Still don't get why this card is going for so much, but picked one up and surely overpaid.

Feb Pickup

Very nice panels Gary I sold one with Ruth on it around 15 years ago for less than $100 I wish I still had it and don't want to know what they are selling for now.

Start of a new team set

These came in at the end of last week, my new project since completing my T3 team set:

http://i175.photobucket.com/albums/w...pstcobbagz.jpg

http://i175.photobucket.com/albums/w...pshb3tj42o.jpg
(Love this one! The MC qualifier doesn't bother me too much)

And here they are all together:

http://i175.photobucket.com/albums/w...pskabbyfbg.jpg
http://i175.photobucket.com/albums/w...psk2wpnxna.jpg

The Wagner I'll either crack and send to PSA or sell it and buy one already PSA graded. Want them all graded by PSA for uniformity purposes.

Still need: Carrigan, Stahl [glove shows], H. Wagner [bat on left sh.], Arellanes, and Kleinow [Boston SP].

Any T206 experts know if there are any minor league T206's in which the player ended up playing their whole major league career with the Red Sox? I might be interested in adding those as well, after I finish the 13.

Just got this one in the mail. Trying to be selective with my filling of the set back-wise. This makes four Piedmont 42s Of course he will be cracked open and slipped in sheets when I get around to it.

Lovely Cicotte, Frank! Quite a bit nicer than the slightly miscut copy I recently picked up.

Upgraded to this beauty:

Bliggity 02-23-2017 09:57 AM

Picked this up last night for what I thought was a steal, assuming it would grade. I believe this puts me at 20/40 on the Dockmans.

We mustn't concern ourselves with such trivialities as whether the correct player appears on a card :D

Checked out your collector focus page as well, great cards! Any method to what you collect?

I've always liked your Ruth Leon. The centering, colors, and image of yours is as good or better than much higher grades. I always enjoy finding low end cards that look better than the technical grade. Very happy to have my own!:D

Thank you Steve!

I mainly collect hall of famers in what I consider their best looking card. I try to find low grade cards that are centered and present exceptionally well for the grade. I have a small collection but always felt having quality was better than quantity :D
