Check-out this Plow Boy Tobacco tin....and how's about showing us some Plow Boy cards
In a neat little Antique shop in Oklahoma last week, I found this Plow Boy Tobacco tin. It's 6" high and 5" in diameter and contained 12 oz. of tobacco.
It's pretty clean for a 100+ year old tobacco tin. I'm not sure what year(s) this Tin was marketed. But, I'm sure Jon C. (or any one else) on this forum can clue me in. http://photos.imageevent.com/tedzan7...acco Tin50.jpg http://photos.imageevent.com/tedzan7...co5x6tin75.jpg We just returned home and I haven't had a chance to photograph it. So for now, scans of this round object on a flat screen will have to do. TED Z . |
I had one in my collection but don't remember the specifics. I am pretty sure, just as most other tobacco related things, there were different versions.

I saw a pack of Plow Boy in an antique store while crossing the country a few years ago. They wanted $100 for it. But I thought that was pretty pricey and they didn't even know about the baseball connection.
