Posted By: Frank Wakefield
Wright is a W512.

The W512s and W513s seem to realistically be from the same series of strip cards that appeared from 1926 through about 1928. The first 10 were baseball players, and the last few were, in between are wrestlers and boxers and aviators and actors... As time went by the series expanded from 10 cards to up to about 7 or 8 dozen. Some cards from the early days, such as Rogers Hornsby and Frank Frisch, are available both with their 1926 teams (Hornsby with Cardinals, Frisch with Giants) and then later on with their 1927/8 teams (Hornsby with Giants, Frisch with Cardinals). So W513 is an extension of W512. Still, Wright is card # 5 in the W512s.

Posted By: Frank Wakefield
FKW nailed the others, as he always does!! I was born in Hawaii, but am not smart enough to figure out how to live there from here on out. That FKW is the smart one!!!

And nice little strip cards. I used to think of them as scrap paper junk. They are little treasures!! Great cards!
