EBAY Fraud question

Posted By: Brad Freeman
Someone is sending Second Chance offers on my item that sold last night. I am getting copies of each of those.

My question: Besides emailing EBAY via the EBAY Security site link, is there a phone number that I can call?

I am concerned since there is several thousand dollars involved. Thanks.

EBAY Fraud question

Posted By: dan mckee
You are wasting your time. Ebay won't follow up on it and the FBI never writes back either. Unless it is costing ebay some type of their fees, then they do not care. They will gladly block bidders info and allow shill bidding just to stop the small amount of people writing under bidders to do off site sales.

EBAY Fraud question

Posted By: Chris Mc
Brad, I am one of the lucky ones who received a second chance offer. It came from Ebay on my Ebay page so it looks like someone has hacked your account. There is a way of contacting Ebay as I had this happen also. If I remember you have to go to live help. From there they will direct you and you will have to reset your passwords. I don't mean to scare you but you should change all of you online account passwords. Best of luck and let us know how it turns out. Best regards, Chris Mc
P.S. Online help will give you a phone # to call and you will be able to speak to a human being.

EBAY Fraud question

Posted By: Brad Freeman
After about 10-12 emails to and from EBAY they were able to cancel the Second Chance offers. No mention was made as to whether they would pursue the wrongdoer. Happy collecting to all of you!

EBAY Fraud question

Posted By: Dylan
i replied to Bruce's post about this a couple days ago. Nothing will be done. You think they would be doing this so blatently if there were consequences? The money is wired into overseas accounts where US jurisdiction doesn't apply.
