Nothing against the seller. I think they are simply being honest and I love the quote in the description.

I do too. If you look at her feedback, she doesn't seem to sell cards.

Correct, for the most part. She currently has 4 baseball cards for sale. All ACU-CARD graded E-5.

I once broke a T204 Johnny Bates out of an Acu-Card holder and it later got an SGC 80, which was an accurate grade.

"Good" cards in "not so good" holders can be nice finds in themselves. And on the converse, they can be very risky investments. I have first hand knowledge of both, many times over. :eek:

Well put, Leon

If this wasn't my first T206 (or pre-war), it was close. I knew next to nothing about pre-war at the time ... I think it came directly from Alan H. himself, somewhere in the 1990 timeframe. I think the card speaks for itself, and though its "..real pertty..", it ain't sayin' the same thing as the grader.
