ebay question

buyer asked me to ship to different address than his paypal confirmed one; I think I can't do that and still be covered just wanted to know for sure; anyone do it and have issues?

PayPal will only cover you if you ship to the confirmed address, IIRC

DON'T DO IT! I had that happen to me on a pair of Jordan's before. The person claimed she wanted to ship them to her grandson. Ended up getting a claim about a month later where the paypal account owner didn't recognize the charge. If the buyer is serious, just cancel the sale and have them change their address on eBay and rebuy.

Thanks, that's what I was thinking.

I contacted buyer and told them I am unable to do it and asked them to advise me how to proceed.

FYI if it is a lesser value item under say $750 these require NO SIGNATURE
its no big deal
as long as you have it in writing via an ebay message
and you have tracking confirming delivery ,if so Ebay will side with seller every time !!
I do it all the time , especially for customers who are going to be out of town
and want it shipped to their friends or neighbors address .
obviously if the buyer has a very low feedback or has changed USER IDs frequently then beware . But as always its going to be your decision
if you feel uncomfortable simple dont do it

But you forget paypal and ebay are separate entities. The buyer can file a PAYPAL claim and if yo don't ship to the confirmed address you will lose.
