Good luck with your auction.

Nice T206 back miscut (not mine).

Sean 02-26-2015 04:29 PM

Lee, you've got a card in there that I've been searching for for two years.
I'll say no more.

It has to be the T206 Piedmont 150 Fred Jacklitsch SGC 35, right? :D

Seriously, another great selection by Lee!

Lots of great cards in there. Best of luck

Good luck Lee, just got my search hits email and found out you had a green E99 in your auction. Was very excited until I realize I already had it. Doh!

bn2cardz 03-12-2015 11:34 AM

Apparently you can add e90-3 and e90-2 to the cold list.
That is ok, though, consignment with you is still easier than ebay and most of my other consignments are still doing well. Of course I am not going to get a consignment check if I don't stop bidding on other stuff. :D

I love getting T210's from SSA. Wish there were a few in this one. Alot of great other types. Good luck Lee

Now that it is over, which card was it? Did you get it?

AMBST95 03-13-2015 08:23 AM

Great auction Lee! I look forward to receiving my invoice later today. Was able to pick up a few last night.

HAHA. They did... thank you.

Now I am just curious to see where some of my former cards ended up.

Which cards were yours?

I sent Lee 45 cards, some were grouped bringing it to 33 lots all prewar. Some of the bigger ones were the D303 Jacklitsch, t206 Matthewson 649fact. I had a lot of 649 factory t206 in the auction as this was a side project that I was bored with and never really put a lot of attention towards as were the e90-3 cards.

I picked up 4 T206 cards, doesn't seem like I bid on any of yours though.

30 of the 45 cards I sent were t206, but most of the prewar in Sterling is t206 so who knows. Any Zimmerman would have been mine (another abandoned side project). The highest grade t206 I had was a psa 5 Willet.

Not that it really matters, but I do enjoy seeing any cards I have sold in other people's collections as time goes on.

NO, I didn't get it. :mad::(:mad:

It was the T206 Merkle Portrait/ Sovereign 150 graded SGC 60.
I expected it to be in the $100-150 range. Instead it went for $522.

I would really like to know whom I was bidding against.

Exhibitman 03-13-2015 12:27 PM

There were some strong results in this auction. I got aced out of a 1956 Topps Mantle BVG 3 so I went on eBay and grabbed an SGC 3.5 for $2 more including free shipping.

I couldn't believe it didn't go higher than that...

Bliggity 03-13-2015 02:41 PM

Was happy to pick up a few of these. There were some pretty good deals, I thought.

I picked up one of the t205s also. I'm down to 14 cards to complete the set.

It's a nice card but the 60 is a very generous grade for that card
with those corners.

oldcardboard 03-13-2015 04:39 PM

Picked up 2 more HoFers for my t206 set.
Willie Keeler w/bat SGC 60
Rube Marquard-follow through SGC 55

shernan30 03-13-2015 06:22 PM

Picked up the Gasper T205 for my Cincinnnati set.

Picked this up in last week's Sterling auction.

Won the bid Thursday night, paid on Friday night and now have the card in hand on Monday.

Now that's customer service!

Thanks Lee!
