Trivia Time:
What post-WWII team went 681 straight games- over four plus seasons without having a game started by a left-handed pitcher?
|
Dodgers in the early '90's.
|
Correct Todd-
Bobby Ojeda started on 9/24/1992 & Denys Reyes started on 7/13/1997 I thought that was pretty amazing! The Team went 356-325 in the four plus seasons making the playoffs only twice (though one was a strike year)- being swept in 1995 & 1996. A team that had already had Koufax and Valenzuela and was manage by another lefty, Tommy Lasorda. Jus BAD KARMA! |
