Old photograph question

Posted By: Bryan Long
I am thinking of maybe parting with this old picture that I bought some time ago. I bought the picture in a really old frame and had it reframed. The photo has the photographers stamp on the back (can't remember now who it was), but I know it came from the Seattle Post Intelligencer. Does anyone have a clue as to what this type of thing sells for? Leon, if this post is not for the main area you can delete with my apologies.

Bryan

.

Posted By: Steve Murray
Looks to be an "S" on the Jersey. If so it may be a Seattle NWL player. A PCL/NWL connection would have features for a collector of such material. Identifying the player would likewise enhance the value.

Generic $50
Seattle NWL $100
Identify player $200

Old photograph question

Posted By: Bryan Long
I tried very hard for several months to identify the player, but had no luck. I even called the newspaper in hopes to get someone to give me an idea of the photographer, but again no luck. I know there are some big PCL collectors, and I was hoping that one of them may chime in.

.

Posted By: leon
Not the end of the world to post this here but it would be better on the memorabilia side of the forum. Yesterday we had about 9 new threads over there so the action is picking up.....I would ALWAYS suggest posting there first and if no responses then here is fine...(on memorabilia related things)....kindest regards

edited ...make that 14 new threads yesterday on the "dark" side...that might be the most ever!!!! Way to go memorabilia guys...
