Love of the Game Auctions in NYC This Thursday

Hi Everyone:

Hope all is well.

Just a quick note to let you know that LOTG will be celebrating the launch of our Summer auction this Thursday, July 23, at Foley's NY Pub & Restaurant in NYC.

The restaurant is a pretty cool place, at 18 West 33rd St. between 5th and Broadway, right across from the Empire State Building. They've got a pretty fascinating collection of memorabilia of their own on display, with thousands of autographed baseballs, bobbleheads and such (from all eras).

I'll be there displaying items from our summer auction, including the Lou Gehrig game-used bat, the Famous & Barr Babe Ruth, and some other treasures. I'll also be accepting consignments for our Fall catalog auction, with no consignor fees for Net54 members. Just mention the board when you come by.

The event will be from noon to 4PM - perfect opportunity for a liquid lunch.

Hope to see some of you there!

+1 to this. Al is great and his item descriptions are top notch. The auctions are decent as well. :D

Wish I could make it but am in Virginia for my daughter's softball tournament.

If Al mispronounced your name, you'd feel compelled to change it.

Al gave HIS father "the talk".

If Al were to pat you on the back, you'd add it to your resume.

Behind Al's beard, is another fist.
