Top 30 - T206 HOF List

Guys,

Please see my attempt at putting together the top 30 HOFers in order. I did not account for back type or any type of variations. Thoughts?

Tim

I would rearrange a few assuming your list is based solely on current value.

I think a few of these players/poses like Lajoie Portrait and Eddie Collins should increase in value and ranking as the years go by. I can see the Lajoie Portrait surpass the 2 Cy Young action poses and Eddie Collins make it's way up wedged between the Christy White and Dark cap.

I like the list. I think I'd put Waddell portrait at #30 over Baker, but I'm partial to the portraits and love some of the stories about Waddell.

This is a decent list, and I think its generally accurate as far as HOFers go. But, I think limiting your list to HOFers ignores 3 of the best/most important T206s cards -- Magie error, and O'Hara and Demmitt PB.

The Evers Cubs Shirt (Blue Sky) is easily the most valuable Cub on the list, and should probably rank somewhere around #11.

edit: I found a ranking of scarcity of back. Lenox -Brown is one thing but how closely does back rarity track demand in general? Especially since VCP combine the entire categories of Piedmont and Sweet Caporal into one?

For the Mathewsons, does it matter which back variation? If so, is there a ranking for back variations on the Portrait, White Cap, and Dark Cap?
