Which of these two cards has the best future in value/investment?

I hesitate to use the word "investment" as I am a collector. I rarely ever sell anything I acquire unless I loss interest in the set. These two cards are two of the top four that I've ever spent on a single card. Just wondering what everyone thinks in terms of what card was the "better buy" and which one will be a better value in the future. I have zero plans of selling either currently.

The Cobb was $828 in August 2011
The Gehrig was $930 in December 2012

The Cobb. Even though it's the more common card.

unless there's something besides the slight corner rounding, it's a nice card for VG. The Gehrig looks a bit less like a 3 -centering, and that light spot at the top right.
