What is dimaond cut?

What is the difference between a diamond cut and trimmed and how can the card be 1 and not the other? I am an uneducated human, thanks for your understanding.

Diamond cut is an off cut from the card factory. Trimmed is another ball game where some one cuts the card

thanks jay.
so would a card thats centered 0/100 be a diamond cut, o/c or both? Does it need to start to show another card to be a diamond cut?

Steven a diamond cut is usually an off cut w/ more border on 1 angle and less on the other
