Posted By: <b>Josh Evans</b><p>I will be at Papermania in Hartford, Connecticut this weekend January 5-6<br /><br />Many of you may not be aware that the best paper show in the country is Papermania in Hartford, Connecticut. I have done the show for many years and it is really a lot of fun. There is not a lot of baseball or cards there, but there is some truly great material from all areas of ephemera (books, photos, autographs, art, posters, historical, etc.). <br /><br />I will also be bringing about 25,000 vintage photographs from the SFX Archives. Most of them are priced at $3 each and all are fresh to the market (unpicked). The last two years it has been standing room only at my booth as there are a ton of scores in the piles (but you really have to be willing to dig and it is mostly non sports). Last show someone found an $800 photo for $3 on Day Two. <br /><br />If you are looking for Babe Ruth images I won’t have that type of stuff. I save that for my auctions. But you never know what you might find. And you might enjoy yourself anyway and not just at my booth. <br /><br />I will also be doing appraisals on Sunday as part of Papermania’s regular "Appraisal Day". So if you have anything you are curious about please bring it in.
