1919 World Series Ticket on Ebay

Pretty sure this is not real, aka a fake. There were a bunch of fake ones being sold on Ebay about 3-4 years ago, wish I would have saved the pix. This one just does not look good to me. Never seen one crumbled like this, and such a sharp right corner. Probably would have to see it in person to confirm.

Love the seller's description, "they might deliver it", hope the winner isn't in Canada. And they've heard "horror stories", what???!!!

Real or not she isnt selling anything else sports related, so I imagine she believes its real. You should ask her where she got it. The comment about waiting until the 100th anniversary is interesting...I wouldnt think that would make much of a difference, it wouldnt for me.

Will she hand deliver too the Lincoln signature with the secure/genuine sticker?

FWIW, here's a real one to compare:

If it were truly from 1919, wouldn't it be more flat looking than it's current wrinkled look?

I mean, if it is that old and in that good of shape, one would assume it was kept in a book or between something to keep it out of the light and to help protect it, not look all wrinkled like they just found it in a drawer or something.

I would not consider myself a true expert on Lincoln sigs but I have seen more than a few. Genuine???, I have my doubts.
