Walter Johnson Postcard

Posted By: Jim Clarke
Just wondering if anyone has seen any more of these style postcards before? That cabinet that went off in Mastro was an awsome piece. I hated being on the sidelines for that one..

Posted By: Clint
Jim are you asking for sectional postcards? While were on the subject of Walter Johnson cabinets. The Coffeyville, Kansas Dalton museum has a pretty good section on Walter. They have the same cabinet of Johnson and Matthewson tacked to wall, out in the open, where you can touch it. I cringed when I seen it.

Posted By: Jim Clarke
Just looking for anymore style postcards like this one which are real photo cards. I bet the security guard is twitching his fingers on his gun holster as he watches people thru the security camera. I've never been thru there. When I plan my Clark Griswald trip accross Country, maybe I can talk the family into stopping there...

Posted By: Clint
Jim, I would highly recommend stopping there. Not only do they have the great baseball stuff, they have almost every artifact from the Dalton Gang raid. It's definately worth the trip. As for the photo, I think they have no idea of the value. They have some rppc of exhibition games Johnson was in as well.

Also they still have the largest ball of twine in Cawker City, Kansas. Don't forget to stop there!
