The T206 set with the card like this is worth a lot, however this one has no difference in price in the SCD annual book. Is that since these were made after the T206 they are no rarer. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks Paul

Posted By: <b>Peter Thomas</b><p>Almost all T206 Demmitt's have New York on card - so those with St. Louis are much more valuable. All T213 Demmitt's have St. Louis and are common for the issue.

Additionally he can be found with a faint "New York" on chest.In both cases, the caption on the bottom reads "Chicago Amer." Both of these varieties have been known for more than the 20 years I've collected the series. Neither was as challenging to obtain (for me) as the T-206 Demmitt St Louis variety, but then again, FAR fewer people collect Coupon Cigarette cards. Hope this helps.

Here's an example that just sold on eBay...I waited all week looking forward to this auction, but I did not win it..maybe next time...

I was watching it. Woke up this morning to see it ended at $3700. It was obviously on a few people's radar.

I read in another post that Steve said I would find one of these because I just missed out a few years ago. I had no idea what he was referring to. He was referring to this post. I don't remember this at all. I'm like a 50 yr old Joe Biden. I wanted to see proof of this mysterious card that is not on the internet, and I posted proof. Oy vey, the search continues. I know of 3 examples, Mark's, this one from ebay, and one from a lot on legendary that was not pictured.

Let's just hope it's not another three plus years before another pops up.
Actually, let's hope that two come up at the same time. ;)

the way things have been going in the hobby lately...maybe a handful will all be found at once!

This is interesting. I have been collecting these for 8 years and I had no idea that the New York variation existed.
