95 Percent ...

... of stuff on eBay is garbage.

I sold a couple of cards and now I have a bit of money to spend. I decided to search eBay for a few vintage cards on my want-list and the cards I found are either off-centered, miscut, have writing on them, badly rounded corners, paper loss, major printing defects, etc. I found very few decent examples and the sellers are asking for a lot more than what they usually go for.

And then you wonder why collectors go crazy when PWCC lists nice cards starting at no reserve.

This is a really great point as part of the whole PWCC prices realized discussion.

Do a search on T206 PSA and see how many 99 cents starting auctions are out there for arguably the most widely collected pre-war card. Outside of PWCC and Probstein it's very few.

And then the PWCC card goes higher than the BIN counterpart. Even though the BIN card is nicer. Go figure.
