I finally made the pre-war plunge!! Mostly because of all the talk on this board.

By far the oldest card I own. Obviously some paper loss on the back, but I'm happy with the overall eye appeal of the front.

That's a great start to a pre-war collection. And that paper loss on the back actually helps, because you get a nice looking Mathewson for a much lower price. Nice going.

Picked up Drum #7 and a few black Lenox cards. The Heinie Berger is the 1st confirmed example.

Amazing Chuck. You should make a grid with all the Drums in a row. :)

Very nice pick up. One of my favorite cards of all time. You have the heavy lifting done. Might as well complete the set!

Thanks Dale and Eric!

Wow, Jon, that's quite a haul.

Obviously Gibson is the best card in the bunch, but how can you not appreciate that Paddy O'Connor pose, eh?

Cheers,

Richard.

Huge boost to my efforts at this one. Only a handful to go now!

Now...anyone ever seen one of the accompanying score charts? And have one to sell or trade? :D

Had been looking for a decent one of these for a while. Didn't expect to get one THIS nice. (If you saw what the rest of my collection looked like, you'd understand!)https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...22dd1d100d.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...0e6b55c3eb.jpg
