Wow

yanksfan09 04-29-2016 07:40 PM

It really looks like a preschool kid attempted this.

Although I may be insulting preschoolers with that remark.

Rookiemonster 04-29-2016 09:23 PM

It's beautiful !

I thought I had seen it all until I glanced at this one.
At first I thought this is just some stupid mistake by an innocent person who has no knowledge of autographs. But then I read his description. Sometimes we see something awful but the seller is only selling one autograph among a long list of items and you think, well he is not really a crook.
But wow, this guy is just another slime ball and also possibly the WORST forger ever.
CC would not even touch this one, crooked authenticators would not touch this one, this ball is too funny.

Even his little league ball that was auctioned off had a better signature than that.

I wonder why he won't take any returns? Think he knows something?

thetruthisoutthere 04-30-2016 09:38 AM

I actually contacted the seller of that crap a few days ago and wrote "So you Jeter signed that baseball for you in person?"

He replied "Yep back in 2008."

When I called him a liar, I never heard back from him.

I wrote to the seller:

"Do you have an authentication certificate for this item?
If you have one from PSA or JSA , or are willing to get one, then I would buy the ball from you for $400 + the cost of the certificate.
Let me know."

Think I will hear back?? ;);)

Possibly may hear back. That is the rushed Derek Jeter asleep after five Rum Chada's signature:eek::p

Kudos to the ball for surviving hurricane Katrina.

rsn1661 05-01-2016 02:05 AM

Hard to believe but the listing has been removed.

yanksfan09 05-01-2016 07:28 AM

Wow, maybe ebay got enough reports on it? Amazing!

However, I don't think this listing was at risk of fooling anyone anyway.

You have to check out this "Joe DiMaggio" listed by Ebay seller Catiana77 and read the auction description.

How can you go wrong the seller guarantees that it's authentic autographed.

This is the rare and sought after Jae DiMaggie signature version. Plus, there's free shipping!

RichardSimon 05-02-2016 11:00 AM

that looks like his first ever attempt at selling a forgery.
Look at his feedback. Never sold an item before apparently.
And only $9000 BIN for that Joe D. Wow!!
Now if he had forged Marilyn's autograph, then I could see asking $9K.:D
