Vintage Louisiana Issues

Posted By: Cobby33
Does anyone know if there are any other Louisiana issues of Vintage cards aside from Coupon, Kotton (et al.), Tango Eggs, Holsum (?) and Victory? I know I'm missing some, so any help would be appreciated! Thanks!

Posted By: Patrick McHugh
T207 Cards were issued with anon. backs from factory no. 3 dist. of Louisiana. Not every t207 but some. They are one of the 2 toughest backs besides red cross which is in a class all it's own.

Posted By: Mike Campbell
I have a 207 Anon. Buck Weaver. Louis. issue. PSA 5. I have only ever seen one other like it. Any idea how many others might be out there? A guesstimate? Not selling it, just curious. I bought it from a guy in Chicago. Bought it raw. Very nice card. he wasn't sure what it was. I was.

Posted By: Ed McCollum
Many years ago (maybe 14?), Alan Hager actually showed up at a mall card show in Lincoln. As I was trying to get as many of the T206 backs as possible, I was looking through his and came across a Lenox back. The price was outragous, and his explanation was that Lenox backs had only sold in New Orleans, thus justifying their scarcity and his price.
