Clemente ML debut program on ebay is NOT from that game
 

In case any of you have an interest in an unscored program from the ML debut game of Roberto Clemente, don't get too excited about this item on ebay:

This program is NOT from the opening day game in Brooklyn because:

1 - Bob Borkowski was not traded to the Dodgers until June 14, 1955.

2 - Paul Martin was not signed by the Pirates until June 28, 1955.


This program dates to the July or September games at Ebbet's Field. I have sent the seller a note to alert him to his mistake.
