The top had a very strange appearance - almost like it was converted to a lamp or something? Posted By: <b>Aaron M.</b><p>Neat item! Definitely looks like a lamp, not sure if it's an A's item. Reminds me of something that would go in a Hunt's auction for a couple hundred dollars -- at minim its a great piece of vintage baseball folk art.

Posted By: <b>Mike H</b><p>Ive seen the three elephants with that larger ball in antique malls a few times. The baseball was added later and while it isn't an A's piece, I guess it is folk are, but not old folk are.

Not even done that well, if you look closely at the top of the baseball.<br /><br />I doubt whether Hunts would have accepted this one for their Live Auction, as it is a lower calibur piece. Maybe for their lower-end Internet/Phone Auction...
