Recent A's statue on ebay

Posted By: Keith
Did anyone else see this auction? I was the underbidder, but wasn't really sure what to think of it and probably should have gone higher. The top had a very strange appearance - almost like it was converted to a lamp or something? Do you guys think this is definetly an A's item?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=250195324287

Posted By: Mark
I don't think it is an Atletics piece either. It's definitely pieced together. Not even done that well, if you look closely at the top of the baseball.

I doubt whether Hunts would have accepted this one for their Live Auction, as it is a lower calibur piece. Maybe for their lower-end Internet/Phone Auction...
