Errant "Snipe Outbid Notice" Email
Some of you may have received an errant email telling you your snipe amount was outbid, when, in fact, it wasn't. If your snipe won the item, you got an email to that effect ("successful purchase") and it will show in your "won items" page. You can also check the item bid history.
This is just an errant email and did not actually effect any bid execution. issue should be resolved now. |

Rob - I show the system having sent you 6 emails last night (your hotmail account) on a number of listings. Maybe check your SPAM folder?

It seems to only happen in cases where you were the high bidder with an even higher max bid, then bidder B comes and bids you up towards your max, but you are still winning, then bidder C comes and outbids you. When bidder C does that, you don't get the email. Hope to have it fixed shortly. Thanks for bringing it to our attention! |
Richard - I have identified and hopefully fixed the issue that caused you not to get the outbid notice email. On the bright side, you were outbid by a snipe so you wouldn't have had a chance to rebid anyway :)
