Question from a newby about searches...

Is it possible to set up a search setting or personal preference in my control panel where I get an email if an item is listed in a thread (i.e. 1952 topps) that interests me? I looked in my CP but nothing stuck out.

I may be wrong but I don't think so. I would start a thread in the BST of what you're looking for and see where it leads.

I would also recommend to start reading the back log of threads. There is tons of information and a huge amount of knowledge on here. The more active you become and the more familiar you are to others can go a long way in finding more of what you desire, both information as well as the cards. Plus, it just plain fun!

Welcome to the boards.

There is nothing like that in our software. I also recommend starting a thread and every now and then bumping it to the top with your new wants/needs. You can see several folks that do that and a lot of them have been successful doing it. Welcome aboard and good luck...

Thanks so much for the idea. I am not sure what you mean when you say to start a thread and then 'bump' it up? Does that mean just update it with a new comment so it goes to the top of the boards?
