Posted By: Rich Klein
Just wanted to state that I won an inexpensive item in his last auction; but

1) Was kept very well informed as to the UPS shipping and the item was very well packed.

2) Received item within 2 weeks after close of auction. That includes sending check and receiving merchandise.

3) Item was as described.

I know some people have had issues with Steve in the past; but I just wanted to say this was a positive experience and you can not ask for more than that

Regards
Rich

Edited because I used the wrong word

Posted By: Peter_Spaeth
Case in point to what I just posted on the Heritage thread. A couple of years ago we were ripping Steve to shreds for not stepping up and refunding a guy on a fake Ruth item. Now there will be a thread singing his praises.

Posted By: J Levine
I have to admit that I had problems with Steve in the past but last year he helped me out with a tough card for a great price and he knew exactly who I was during the sale. He was professional and the card is great. I am pretty sure I came on here after that and said that Steve has turned a corner with me and I would trust him again. Thanks again Steve.

Joshua

Posted By: Michael Steele
Ahhh yes, I remember that Ruth Calendar thread. Not Pretty. Have always had solid dealing's with Steve and his company. Been buying from him for at least 15 years. I remember those E-107's he had one time. Wish I had won all of them

Posted By: Bob
In the early and mid 90's his customer service was horrible. I was flat lied to about some T207s I had purchased by one of his employees. Since then I have bought cards from him on several occasions and have always found the customer service and cards to be fine and haven't had any regrets.

Posted By: Jeff Schwarz
Have had several good experiences in the past, but am in the middle of a problem. Bought a 23-24 Exhibit of Simmons, a card I have been looking for for years. Card got sent to an ancient address of mine that has not been good for 10 years, even though he has sent 4 packages to my present address in the last year. Have been told that the card was being returned and should get it this week. Everyone has been nice and apologetic with good communication. Will be pissed if this one gets lost. Time will tell.

Posted By: dan mckee
I have been dealing with Steve for many years. Considering a large number of deals, you will always have some small problems, neither one of us is perfect. Steve is a great friend and I always highly recommend him. He has always fixed the minor problems with me though I think I may have mispronounced his last name a few times in the olden days.

Posted By: Jeff Schwarz
The Simmons card arrived today, packaged securely as usual. They fixed the problem and will continue to do business with them. Rona even offered free shipping on my next order which I hope will be soon.

Posted By: Lee Behrens
Glad to hear you got your problem fixed, Jeff. But your resolution is similiar to one of the problems I have with Verkman. The fact that he wants to take care of you the next time you buy and not the current situation is a big problem in my book. Why do I have confidence in buying again from you when I have had problems and you will not do anything to rectify the problem until I spend more money with you? I see his policies have not changed.

Lee

Posted By: bigfish
You misread Jeff's response as Hdrum points out above. You can't seem to let this go which is really sad. Happened so many years ago. Time to move on......Life is too short....
