Can you block 0 feedback bidders on eBay

Posted By: Charlie O'Neal
I have been thinking about selling a few of my cards on eBay. Since some of these cards will go for a few hundread dollars, I don't want to be at risk for any scams. Is there a way to effectivly block 0 feedback bidders and newly registered users from bidding on an item? I appreciate any input ya'll can offer.

I think you can block specific buyers, those with x number of negs, etc.

But, as a reminder, everyone was new on Ebay at some point. Just because they are just starting out is no reason to assume they are trying to scam you. I've had several "0" feedback buyers win items from me and only had one problem of non-payment in the last several years. You're not going to send the card until you have received payment, so I vote for assuming most people are good.

Posted By: Joe D.
I have requested this a bunch of times to eBay.

They should at least allow you to block zero feedback users on 'Buy it Now' auctions.

When a bogus account trips off your buy it now, the listing ends.... and the annoyance begins. At least with an auction-style listing you can cancel bids.

There is nothing more annoying than zero-feedback bogus accounts tripping off your buy-it-now. You have to go through a whole process (for listing refunds) and then go through relisting the item.
