Milwaukee Card Show Saturday, October 6, 2018

Show runs from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Four Points Sheraton, 5311 S. Howell, in Milwaukee. This month show features 15 dealers spread out on 34 tables in two rooms! Two free packs of cards for everyone who attends and free admission. For more info, go to www.fatdaddyssports.com.

As an aside, I'd like to thank Leon for letting me post information on my show every month. I'm just one guy trying to put on a show on a shoe-string budget every month and I can't say just how much I appreciate the privilege of posting the show info on Net54. -Tony

One of the best aspects about this board is Leon and the moderators ensuring small shows such as ours are not only allowed, but also encouraged to post on these boards.

Someday we got to do each other's shows

Rich, as you know, it is such an uphill battle to put on a small monthly show. I'm having a terrible time with my current venue and trying to find a new location. Also, you probably got the same message, PSA will no longer allow us to mention our shows on their boards. So, now more than ever, I appreciate Leon and this board.

Rich, if I don't find a new location for my show, I'll have a lot more free time to come out to your show!! I hope you have a great show this weekend!!

Tony:

I think and hope we'll get back to normal. I had a brief meeting with the AGM this morning because the Sales Manager (who had been hired and set up this whole miserable year) is no longer working for the Hotel.

At least the AGM is an honest person who will do what she thinks will work out things for both us and her owner. There is a nice man who runs a postcard show there 2x a year and has the same opinion of both people (AGM and former sales MGR). He will be very happy to see who is taking care of him for this show.

At the very least for next year, we'll have the Adat shows and we'd love to see you there. And that's a real shame about the PSA boards, I guess shows such as these are not big enough for them.

Even though I haven't gone to many lately, due to other obligations, I can't think of more worthwhile things to support than our local card shows. Good luck guys!! (and I know Tony's recent one is over but good luck in the future!!)
