OT: Lyle, Erik Menendez Appear to Be on Former Knicks PG Mark Jackson's Hoops Card

I know that this thread is about a basketball card but I thought it would be interesting to post here.

Would you collect this card?

No, just as I wouldn't collect nor accept an O.J. card even if it were given to me.
Not knocking those who do, I just don't understand the allure.

A good promotion for Topps might be to produce one or more cards in every set in every sport in which they capture a well known person in the stands ( easiest likely in basketball) and make it a SP or an insert in the set. A few years back they artificially inserted folks like President Bush, Rudy G and Mantle into cards in the background, but this would involve known people actually attending a game with the featured player in the foreground.

It's not everyday that they have murderers sitting in the first row. Easier just to capture a well known person in the background.

Give it time, the price of that card is going to drop like a rock. Remember the Billy Ripken F-face card (I think it was 89F)? Pretty sad commentary on the culture and values of this country. What's funny is that anybody that has that crap will be searching their boxes for that card.

I've seen three different threads on these murderers already.

Let's close this case! PLEASE! ENOUGH ALREADY!

Leon - maybe you could make a final judgement of this subject?
