Sometimes Auction Houses are Cheaper than eBay

Just followed this auction. A T3 Speaker in PSA 5 - but a very weak/questionable 5.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/370562713050...84.m1423.l2649

Anyhow, the bidders at Goodwin in June 2011 obviously thought it was a weak example, as this card sold there for $1918 only 6 months ago.

Now, the card sells for 40% more on eBay. Tidy profit.

I guess results like this give the flippers hope...

Cheers,
Blair

That's also got a piece of a corner missing, and it's a 5? Ridiculous.

T3 Speaker

The T3 Speaker is no doubt a great looking card but that is a lot of coin with a piece of corner missing. How this gets a 5 is strange because from what I understand any loss of paper or pinhole should knock the grade down.
